The living area is defined by thearticle R.111-2 of the French Construction and Housing Code<\/b>.
It corresponds to the built floor area<\/b>after deduction :<\/p>\n

  • surfaces occupied by walls, partitions, steps and stairwells, service ducts, door and window openings,<\/li>\n
  • and floor areas for which the ceiling height is less than 1.80 m<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
